Tell me about it. 是甚麼意思?

你跟如果常跟美國人說話，會發現他們蠻喜歡說: Tell me about it. 此英文到底是甚麼意思? 答案就是有下面兩種意思:

1. "請跟我描述一件事情"，像以下例句:

A: I had a bad dream yesterday.
B: Tell me about it.

2. "你說的沒錯" 或 "我也這麼認為"，像以下例句:

A: The economy is bad. More and more people are getting laid off every day.
B: I know! Tell me about it. My uncle got laid off last month.

在這裡當然也可以說 You are right. 或 I think so, too. 但 Tell me about it. 有更強烈的同意的語氣。
