心理繫掛著某些事情, 無法忘記或釋懷, not over it 很好用, 例如:

After all these years you are still not over it. = 過了這麼多年，你還是對此事耿耿於懷，無法釋懷

當一個大事情發生時你因為情緒的關係無法接受這個事實, 後來才慢慢接受, 就代表你想開了. move on 可說是最簡單也最貼切的說法，例如:

She died years ago. We've moved on, remember?

的意思是:

她幾年前就死了，我們已經釋懷了，不是嗎?

另外，get over it 也很好用，例如:

Whatever. I'll get over it. = 算了，我會釋懷/看開/想通/放下的

over it 也很好用，例如:

in denial 指一個人無法接受一件事情的發生, 所以一直否認.
