"經過" 用 pass by 較合適，如: I pass by the Memorial Park every day on my way to work.

turn up 有出現的意思，如 My brother turned up at my door last night.

whom 用在被動，如 Whom did you meet this morning? 但美國人一般不大在意，基本上在任何情況都用 who 就可以了
