決鬥 的英文怎麼說?

首先，PK 根本不是英文，PK 的原寫是 player killer，也就是遊戲中殺死玩家的人，但中文演化成為「雙方單挑」的意思，在美國跟美國人講 PK 沒人聽得懂，換句話說，PK 是中文而不是英文，那麼正確的英文是什麼呢? 請看以下說明。

to challenge somebody to a duel = 跟某人下戰帖，也就是PK、對戰、決鬥、對決、對打、單挑、自相殘殺的意思，一定是只有兩人進行

duel 以前是指雙方用武器打架決鬥，但現在可引申為各種兩個人舉行的比賽，例如運動、數學、智力等，duel 也可指政治的決鬥，例如兩位候選人之間的決鬥。

我要跟你單挑 = I am challenging you to a duel.
我要跟你PK = I am challenging you to a duel.
我要跟你對戰 = I am challenging you to a duel.
我要跟你決鬥 = I am challenging you to a duel.
我要跟你對決 = I am challenging you to a duel.
我要跟你對打 = I am challenging you to a duel.

如果是裁判要對兩位選手說「PK」，就可用 Fight!

要單挑嗎? = How about a duel?

你們要不要來PK一下? = How about you guys duel each other? = How about you guys fight it out?

另外，比較溫和的場面可以用別的英文字，例如主持人介紹一位廚師煮的菜很好吃，現場來賓說自己煮的更好吃，主持人可能會說「那就來PK一下」，這時候就能說:

Let's have a cooking contest. 或 Let's have a cooking competition.

運動的單挑常用 game 或 match，例如:

a tennis match, a football game

我們周末來PK網球 = Let's have a tennis game this weekend.
